Multiple Explosions Rocked Abuja Last Night, 15 Dead 14 Injured

There were multiple bomb blasts last night by suspected Boko Haram insurgents which occurred at three key places in Kuje and Nyanya. The first occurred in front of Kuje police station, while the second occurred at the town’s main market, 15 minutes apart from other.

A third explosion was also reported at Nyanya Bus Station thereafter. Nyanya was the scene of two bombings in 2014, which led to scores of death. The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, police authorities and the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, have confirmed 15 dead and 41 injured in the multiple blasts in Abuja, Friday night.

It's been learnt that the remains of those killed have been deposited in various hospitals across the city. The injured were rushed to Kuje General Hospital, National Hospital and Nyanya General Hospital.
