Hajj Stampede: Hon. Adefolabi Still Missing

Contrary to the official report by the Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board that no casualty was recorded among the pilgrims from the state in the stampede that occurred in Mina, on the way to Jamarat, where many pilgrims died, Classic International Magazine has reliably gathered that one of the pilgrims from the state, Hon. Adeola Maurufudeen Adefolabi is still missing.

Hon. Adefolabi is a one term honourable member representing Ifako Ijaiye in the lower chamber of the National Assembly and former chairman of Ifako Ijaiye and Ojokoro Local Government Areas. The magazine further learnt that Hon. Adefolabi was last communicated before the unfortunate disaster that claimed hundreds of lives and all efforts made by family, friends and fellow pilgrims to locate the grass root political titan has proved abortive.
