HID Awolowo To Be Immortalised

The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun who just returned from Mecca , paid a condolence visit to the Awolowos on the passing away of Hannah Dideolu Awolowo.

Yesterday at their Ikenne family home, Amosu said that the Late HID will be immortalised in Ogun State for her good works. He said this was necessary so that generations yet unborn will know about her.

“We will name a lot of things after her, because she deserves it; so that generations yet unborn will come and ask why we named the things after her.

 And we will tell them that they were the foundations and the pillars that some of us rested on,” Amosun said. He also disclosed that the State would participate fully in her burial programmes.
