Kim Kardashian has revealed one of Kanye West's most ambitious projects to date is redecorating the White House if he is successful in his bid to become president.
The brunette, who appeared on Ellen on Wednesday told the talk show host that her husband is keen on interior design and would like to get his hands on one of the United States most iconic residences.
She said:
'I was thinking about how much fun it would be to be in the White House.
'I was joking with him: "You will have to make it to a second term" because he loves redecorating, and I was like, "you are going to have to redo the whole White House, and we aren't going to be able to enjoy it, so we are just going to have to go with the flow.'"
She added her husband has great taste when it comes to interior design.
The 34-year-old also revealed she had no idea Kanye was going to announce his plans to run for president when he announced it at the MTV Video Music Awards.
When asked by Ellen she said: 'I did not. That was news to me.'
Ellen continued: 'So he never discussed with you he wanted to run for president one day?'
She responded: 'That was not a discussion in our household.'
She added: 'He is serious and I believe he is serious and I know that if he puts his mind to something he will do his best .
'I don’t know if that was planned and I just didn’t know about it or if he came up with that idea right then and there.
